Gloria Jeans is a vertically integrated fashion retailer specializing in apparel, shoes and accessories for all ages under the Gloria Jeans and Gee Jay brands. Founded in 1988, by Vladimir Melnikov, the company quickly expanded and as of 2011 there are more than 370 stores in malls and main streets across Russia and the Ukraine.

The company operates three store formats of 300, 500, 1000+ m2 in cities with populations greater than 30,000 people. The assortment is divided into four age groups: 0-2, 2-7, 8-13 and 13+ reflected in our store environments of over 120,000 square meters of selling space.

Gloria Jeans is on track for another record-breaking year, following an increase of 94% in 2010 and comparable stores sales growth of 22%. Gross profit for 2010 increased 61.2% to 5.5 billion rubles and company net profit 2.2 times to 1.4 billion. Projected sales for 2011 are more that 16 billion rubles.

By 2013 Gloria Jeans plans to launch an on-line store, operate over 600 locations and surpass $1 billion in sales. Come 2015 the same plan calls for more than 1000 stores in all regions of Russia, Ukraine and selected International markets.

The Company headquarters are located in the city of Rostov-on-Don overseeing seven regional offices and twenty factories in Russia and the Ukraine producing in excess of 65,000,000 units per year. Gloria Jeans Fashion Corporation employs over 12,000 people.
